Hey!  I just got back from aerobics...AHH!  It was definately hard.  I can't believe how amazing it is outside!  I just want to go play catch and soak up the sun.  But I don't have a baseball or glove...or football...or basketball.  Is there something wrong with that?  I love outdoor activities, I wish I did more of them.

Question of the day: How do you get rid of nightmares?  I've had one 2 nights in a row.

Hello all!  It's a beautiful day outside...and I'm inside at work.  But thats okay because I leave in an hour and a half.  I didn't sleep much last night...again.  A few nights ago I had food poisening and only got about 2 hours of sleep, and 2 might be pushing it.  Then last night I was up late talking to my girlfriends.  I have such a delima.  What do I do tonight?  I could go to KC with my brother and eat, watch some friends play basketball, study for a test, or hang out with the guys on my floor.  I just don't know what to do.  Food sounds good, but studying for my test is smart.

It's amazing.  I've never felt God's comfort like I did last night. I told God that I was hurting, I was honest with myself about how I felt, and asked God to comfort me and let me have a peaceful sleep and he totally carried through.  That was one of two times that I've let go of something enough to pour my heart out to God and let him take care of me.  And even though the pain isn't completely gone, I'm not near as misserable as I could be.  It's crazy how God gives me the freedom to chose to love him, and to chose to turn to him.  I could have chosen to deal with my emotions myself and harden my heart and just be angry.  And even when I do turn away, he still takes me back when I screw up and come crawling back.

I'm watching Mulan on Disney right now instead of the Academy Awards.  I remember the first time I saw it.  My grandpa took me to it in the movie theater.  He laughed harder than I did, the whole movie.  He came back saying it was the only cartoon he's ever enjoyed.  It's such a great memory to have with him, especially since he's now blind.  Good stuff.

Complacency sucks.  I've said it many times, but now I mean it more than ever.  I haven't gone to church in 2 weeks, and I've skipped Cru this week.  Whatever has been holding me back has to be eliminated.  I just watched a program on the History Channel about the church of Satan.  It was interesting, and next there is one about the Antichrist.  It should be interesting.  If anyone has any suggestions for my slump, let me know.

I love you all and God bless!!!

Hello all!  So, heres a few new things in my life:

  • I have officially gone shopping three days this week...
  • I gave up pop for Lent
  • I have yet to get a better test grade than a B-, and just so you know, it DOES bother me.
  • I ran out of Chapstick
  • I'm going to miss both Cru and church this week because I have to work, which I'm way bummed about.
  • I bought My Fair Lady for my mom, and I'm watching it right now.
  • KU's basketball team is tied for #1 in the Big 12 with Texas (puke)
  • I eat too much
  • I have a stomach ache from all the food I've eaten, so I'm going to go.

I love you all and God bless!!!! Callie Virginia

Hello all.  I'm in a much less depressing mood.  I'm avoiding studying for two tests that I know are going to be ooger hard...but I'm sure I'll live.  So I have a new favorite song, it's KU's Alma Mater.  Everyone sings it at the basketball games, its so much fun!  We all put our arms around each other, sway, and sing our hearts out.  Then of course its followed by the Rock Chalk chant.  Which by the way we sang loudly after we CREAMED Mizzou.  Hey Missouri, you played so horribly that I want my money back for that game!!  Plus, what made it an even better game was that I snuck my mom into the student section...haha...sneaky sneaky.  Very good.  I have a headache...so I'm going to go.  I'm going to leave you with the words to a chorus that has helped me so much through the course of the week.  It's called Carried Me, by someone I don't know...but it's really good.

Love you all and God Bless, Callie Virginia

Even though I'm walkin through the valley of the shadow, I will hold tight to the hand of Him whose love will comfort me.  And when all hope is gone, and I've been wounded in the battle, He is all the strength I will ever need.  He will carry me.
